For Danfoss we are looking for a HVAC engineer to join their real estate team! The real estate team is responsible for all the Danfoss locations worldwide. The team ensures top class fulfillment of user requirements and at the same time ensuring best value for Danfoss. You will both collect and spread expertise regarding HVAC-systems and indoor climate in production and administration buildings.
The Job
As Senior Consultant HVAC, we expect you to be an expert project member on larger Danfoss factory projects globally. With your extensive experience within HVAC and Energy Solutions, you provide best practice and advice regarding the latest technologies, which are applied in technical installations.
Some of your tasks will be:
The candidate
You are somewhat of a professional hybrid, as you possess both analytical skills and a systematic approach, making you able to see individual tasks from a holistic viewpoint. On top of that, you can communicate and explain the essence of your business-related and technological findings to a broad variety of stakeholders. In addition, you have a good understanding of how to navigate in a multi-cultural environment.
Moreover, we imagine that you:
You will be able to work from Danfoss’ office in Kolding or Nordborg, as well as having the flexibility of home office.

The Job
As Senior Consultant HVAC, we expect you to be an expert project member on larger Danfoss factory projects globally. With your extensive experience within HVAC and Energy Solutions, you provide best practice and advice regarding the latest technologies, which are applied in technical installations.
Some of your tasks will be:
- Participation in initial design phases of a building.
- Reducing energy consumption and thus the operating expenses for supplying the production areas and administration buildings.
- Achieve good indoor air quality in production and administration buildings.
- Provide input regarding HVAC systems in the budgeting phase.
- Developing initial specifications contributing to the complete programming for building projects.
- Conceptual design of heating, ventilation, and cooling systems and quality control of external partners proposal on:

- Ventilation in production and office buildings.
- Air-conditioning and humidity control in production facilities.
- Indoor climate in production and office building.
- Heating and cooling plants incl. pipe systems
- Compressed air plants and pipe systems.
The candidate
You are somewhat of a professional hybrid, as you possess both analytical skills and a systematic approach, making you able to see individual tasks from a holistic viewpoint. In addition, you have a good understanding of how to navigate in a multi-cultural environment.
Moreover, we imagine that you:
- Have a relevant technical background
- Are an expert within the field of energy solutions and have a profound knowledge of HVAC systems
- Have solid experience from a similar role – preferably in an international environment
- Speak and write English and Danish
- Are open to traveling 20-50 days/year
You will be able to work from Danfoss’ office in Kolding or Nordborg, as well as having the flexibility of home office.
