Do you want to lead a broad and strategically important HR agenda in a growth organization? Are you passionate about talent attraction and developing high performers, and would you like to continue the maturity journey for HR in a true global company with international perspective? Then you might be the next CHRO at Global Wind Service based at the headquarters in Fredericia in Denmark. You will get a unique opportunity to become part of an international organization in a strategically important position where HR plays a pivotal role in the future growth journey of the company.
Focus on daily operations and long-term strategic initiatives
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will head an international HR team and play a significant role in the organization. As CHRO you will have full HR, mobility and compliance responsibility and your focus will be on the daily operations as well as long-term HR strategy development. You will focus on ensuring a sourcing strategy and build a talent pipeline ensuring that the right competencies are present at all levels of the organization and at the right time. The digital platform needs to be further developed with focus on employee retention and people development supporting the company’s growth strategy. Your key responsibilities will be to:
You can expect travel activity equivalent to approx. 40-50 travel days annually since you have team members across borders.
Strategic HR experience with a pragmatic mindset
You hold an HR relevant education at master’s level, however, international HR experience, a pragmatic business-oriented mindset and the right personality are weighted high. With some years of experience as a leader, you are a powerful contributor in an experienced management team. You are confident in developing and driving core HR processes that support the overall strategy and context and you have solid experience with both blue- and white-collar recruitment and building a talent pipeline for both. It will be an advantage if you have been leading an international team before and have some knowledge about the principles of international labor law. As a person, you are solution-oriented and practical as well as informal, and you are able to see situations from your employee’s perspective. You are persistent and you dare challenge at all levels, exchanging opinions and ideas for development initiatives. You understand the mechanisms in a dynamic business and can adapt to changes, and you are visible in your approach to growth ambitions. Finally, you master English in both writing and speech.

- Drive initiatives supporting “A Great Place to Work” as one of the companies must win battles
- Ensure structured sourcing and onboarding of employees – especially with focus on travel technician and local technicians in key markets
- Ensure a high degree of data validity and transparency within the HR area
- Manage and drive continuous improvement within mobility compliance
- Be a strong sparring partner for people managers while ensuring a common leadership language
- Ensure a cost effective yet competitive framework around employee terms and conditions
- Develop and drive talent management programs for office and field staff ensuring the best team
