Who you are
You're responsible, and inclusive and gets energy in leading other. You thrive when you can combine your analyzing talents with a passion for improving and developing a business. You have previous leadership experience from IKEA or from another retail organization, where you’ve developed a thorough understanding of profit and loss, and have knowledge and capabilities in analyzing numbers, following up and steering a business in collaboration with a management team. Ideally, we see that you have a least 3 years of leadership experience on different levels of an organization, and therefore know and have experience in working with both direct and indirect leadership.
In your daily work, you’re proactive, and goal-oriented and make decisions swiftly based on your knowledge and expertise within the field, which ensures an efficient financial function in the store. The role of Business Navigation Support is a new role in IKEA Taastrup, and you will therefore be a part of creating the role and defining areas of responsibilities. The role is to support the Business Navigation Manager and at the same time succession for our Business Navigations Manager role.
Your responsibilities
The main goal in business navigation is in achieving accurate and timely results that support IKEA’s established organizational standards and goals. This role calls for drive, determination and taking responsibility for ensuring that all departments have clarity of their profit and loss (P&L), and the actions that can affect these numbers. While you must expect that you must work swiftly, the timeliness and quality of your results are never compromised.
In the role of Business Navigation Support, you'll be a part of the economic aspects of the entire store, hence ensuring that all relevant stakeholders have the right understanding of how to navigate their P&L, budget, and development.
Together with the Business Navigation Manager you will be actively contributing to the development of the IKEA store business plan and ensuring alignment with IKEA Global directions, the country’s priorities, and local potential.
Additionally, you’ll have a full overview of the P&L for the store and understand how different actions affect the different lines of P&L. This also means taking responsibility for summarizing and communicating our financial goals, including the P&L, to ensure they’re agreed upon, distributed, and clearly communicated.

OTHER INFORMATION
• The position is on average 37 hours per week on an individual contract. Overtime is reflected in the salary.
• As you are a part of the leadership team in an operational store you can expect to work one evening a week and every 3rd weekend.
• Salary within IKEA’s salary policy based on your competencies and including pension.
• We have various benefits such as Health insurance, massage, canteen, staff discount, discounts club with external partners, yearly gift, bonus etc.
• Start date July 1st.
• There is no mobility/relocation help for this position.
• We have an ongoing interview process and reserve the right to close the job when we have received enough qualified candidates.
