AGCO is about to launch a global SAP implementation and rollout – beginning with EAME (Europe, Africa & Middle East) as wave 1 & 2 (completed Q1&4 2023). As a result, the company is now looking for a Master Data Expert to secure that Master Data are corrected, migrated and harmonized globally (across 32 sites). And hereby implement one local IT solution – based on SAP S/4HANA, bringing high quality data and more efficiency in the way processes are carried out across all sites. Your workplace will mainly be Thisted – combined with trips to other sites prior to “Go live”.
Drive the Master Data migration and integration across sites, domains, and cultures
As Master Data Expert, Cleansing and Migration, you are responsible for securing the execution of decided standards for the migrations and that harmonizations are met and followed – across the different sites and domains of wave 1+2 – enabling the accurate and timely completion of the SAP implementation.
Your primary tasks are:
To be successful in this position you need to quickly understand the current landscape and organization, the future needs of the SAP implementation as well as establishing and driving the execution of a clear plan incl. a vision that bridges the current state with the future needs. Everything done in close collaboration with the different key stakeholders throughout the entire organization.
Strong Master Data Expert Cleansing and Migration with end-to-end SAP Implementation track record
We are looking for an experienced Master Data Expert, who has a proven track record with Master Data Cleansing and Migration from SAP implementation projects including at least one end-to-end implementation. If production environment and an international setup is part of your experience, it would be a clear advantage. You are technically savvy to understand errors and able to remove them in close collaboration with the domains. You are used to be the lead person in projects and are skilled in working with diverse people and cultures. Furthermore, you are expected to understand and actively use data migration tools and hereby capable of evaluating which tools to use – given the context. Finally, you are fluent in English – if you speak Danish, it will be a plus.

You face challenges with a “can do” attitude, a high drive, and a firm belief of the power of teamwork. Drive the Master Data migration and integration across sites, domains, and cultures
As Master Data Expert, Cleansing and Migration, you are responsible for securing the execution of decided standards for the migrations and that harmonizations are met and followed – across the different sites and domains of wave 1+2 – enabling the accurate and timely completion of the SAP implementation.
Your primary tasks are:
- Support each domain (business functions) within the cleansing and migration process to achieve great results
- Execution of Master Data Governance Model incl. assist with setting up business rules, standards, workflow, new procedures, and metrics for requesting or changing materials and other related Engineering Services business processes as well ensuring change management process of Master Data is followed
- Ensure that set standards for migrations and harmonizations are met and followed – enabling an accurate and timely completion of master data tasks and initiatives that support Sales, Operations, Finance, and other business areas
- Collaborate with the different domains within the SAP project to support and guide them in their master data generation and ensure integration points between different domains are covered and Data Quality requirements are met
- Collect, review and put data into SAP and related software as required to support projects, timelines, and deliverables
- Perform master data audits and validation to ensure conformance to business rules, standards, and metrics that meet business requirements
- Identify, collect, and resolve data related errors and issues throughout the organization
- Ensure data migration preparation for SAP Implementation incl. in charge to coordinate the migration test preparation
- Support in migration tests and actual migration execution
- Ensure Master Data quality on each site prior to “Go Live” in collaboration with Domain Leads and Superusers locally – including supporting them with their individual challenges over time
- Train users on different sites on the migration tools and support them in case of issues
- Mentor and coach selected personnel as required
- Create training material and provide training as required
