Are you ready to transform business requirements into future-proof IT solutions? Do you want to be part of DLG’s upcoming journey towards a common group business platform on SAP S/4 HANA? We are about to launch a new program to harmonize and develop our processes in SAP, and we are now searching for a new Senior Solution Consultant for our financial processes.
In this role you will join DLG Group’s IT Solutions team which consists of approx. 30 internal solution consultants and developers. We cooperate cross-border and are located in both Denmark and Germany. Our team will play a key role in the new program, being responsible for designing, building and implementing our future solutions.
On the technological edge for business harmonization
SAP has been the core business solution in both DLG and our German company HaGe for several years, and we are about to merge these into a new group common S/4 HANA solution including most SAP modules like MM, SD, QM, WM, PP-PI, FI/CO, eWM, PO, BW, BO and 3rd party transportation solution as CarLo.
Your tasks and responsibilities
As our new Senior Solution Consultant, it is your role to understand our business processes and business requirements and transform these into robust solutions based on your SAP knowledge. You will be involved throughout the whole process from ideas to design, configuration, test and roll out to the companies in the group as well as subsequent application support and maintenance.
You will work closely with colleagues in Denmark and Germany as well as external consultants to maintain and deliver good solutions on the current SAP platforms and the future S/4 HANA platform. In addition, you focus on building and maintaining solid relationships with line of business.
What we expect from you
We expect that you possess solid SAP skills in FI-CO, and ideally you also have FI-CA/IS-U and Treasury experience. SAP S/4 HANA and especially Central Finance experience is a clear advantage, but not a pre-requisite.
You are analytical and self-motivating by nature with the ability to take lead in your tasks. You are able to set the right priorities to achieve results. As an experienced consultant you have gained good communication skills in detailed dialogues with business as well as technical people. As we will introduce agile delivery methods, experience herein is also an advantage.
We expect you to be fluent in written and spoken English. Solid Danish and/or German skills is an advantage.
In this position you will have the possibility to work from our offices in either Fredericia, Aarhus, Copenhagen or Kiel, but as future project activities and stakeholders are expected to be centered around our future head office in Fredericia, you should expect 50-100 days per year working here.
