Exciting position in global biopharmaceutical company

UCB is entering an exciting era moving from working primarily with common diseases to working with neuro-immunological rare diseases.
In this connection, UCB is looking for a new assets network manager, a medical role at Northern European level (NE) encompassing Ne, Be, Lux and the Nordics focused on delivering value towards pipeline neuro-immunological patient populations.
With direct report to Launch Lead Northern Europe – Neurology.
Responsibilities include:
Identify/map/coordinate cross-border KOL and PAG networks towards long-term partnerships supporting optimal patient care:
Provide medical “pre”-launch support to local ecosystems within neuro-immunological indications:
Your qualifications are 5-10 years of relevant industry experience together with medical and scentific expertise within neuro-immunology. You have a holistic perspective and an ability to capitalize on insights together with being an authentic communicator driven by value creation for patients.
You are a team player who is able to deliver in collaboration with local cross-functional teams as well as within a matrix organization. You have a clear understanding of, that the largest value is created externally and you have a humble approach and a long-term vision.
You have business acumen and are able to combine this with the medical perspective. Finally, you have a high level of agility, being able to adjust to the changing healthcare environment and preparing UCB for the future.
Preferably, you have a PhD within the scientific field.
You are a person who takes initiative, works independently and are able to collaborate with different teams and external partners. You are self-driven and driven by ambiguity and you have a positive outlook together with a humble approach. Finally, you have a creative mindset and a can-do-attitude, while being able to think strategically.
Travelling: Some travelling may occur.

Identify/map/coordinate cross-border KOL and PAG networks towards long-term partnerships supporting optimal patient care:
- Drive preparation of stakeholder networks’ understanding for phase 2/early phase 3 clinical development indications based on prioritized sequence
- Identify and map key opinion leader (KOL) and patient association group (PAG) networks across Northern Europe within the novel neuromuscular and haematological indications
- Coordinate PAG-KOL networks partnership development based on true patient value creation in collaboration with local ecosystem teams
- Organize NE cross-border network KOL-PAG meetings (e.g. scientific advisory board, and patientcouncil) in partnership with local teams based on an aligned strategy towards optimal patientmanagement
Provide medical “pre”-launch support to local ecosystems within neuro-immunological indications:
- Maintain continuous medical/scientific excellence within pipeline neuromuscular andhaematological indications including myasthenia gravis and immune thrombocytopenia
- Drive Northern European team competency development within the prioritized neuro-immunological indications in alignment with global strategy
- Localization of global/EU disease-based material and training of Northern European field team
- Maintain NE pipeline focus in line with global strategy, EU priorities and anchoring in thepatient subpopulation, where UCB can exert greatest impact
- Support local teams with ecosystem specific medical pre-launch initiatives (e.g. real world evidence (RWE))
- Provide high quality scientific/clinical evidence framework towards local MSL support for pricing and market access negotiations in line with ecosystem needs
