Foodjob Nordic is looking for a strong capacity to play a central and broad consulting role in realizing a very ambitious plan for structural development in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The overall vision is to create an environment that enables the industry to contribute to the development of the national economy. By developing and managing industrial cities and technology zones it is the mission to ensure sustainable growth. MODON - The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (the client) who is overall responsible for the initiative has now according to the plan initiated the establishment of the first food cluster called Jeddah II. Jeddah II is a food processing cluster with the aim to provide linkages and synergies between agriculture and industry.
The position
The Palladium Group assists in the realization of the cluster initiative. As Agri-Food Cluster Development Consultant you will be employed by Palladium Group to focus entirely on the establishment of Jeddah II. You will be part of a team of consultants who will supervise and monitor from the study phase to the implementation phase.
The responsibility of the role includes:
A key element of the work will also be to assist the client’s own core team in developing strategic partnerships with private sector investors on a Public Private Sector Partnership basis.
The position is based in the MODON office in central Riyadh, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Profile
The right person for the job has a strong knowledge of the Agri-Food sectors in modern societies in combination with experience establishing and operating sector or cluster structures. As logistical challenges are central in the case of Jeddah II, experience handling raw materials, production, logistics and storage in hot arid climates and markets is also of high priority.
The role requires excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to work well in teams and with various stakeholders. Strong language skills in English – both oral and written is a necessity.
On the personal side the right candidate has a strategic mindset and an analytical and structured approach to problem solving. Self-motivation and determination to make progress are also highly important characteristics.
As the position is based in Riyadh relocation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is required and flexibility to travel is also a necessity.

- Contribute to the Supervision of the Strategy and Master Plan Feasibility Study
- Support in Coordination of Site Visits and Meetings with Major International Agri-Food initiatives.
- Supporting the client in Preparation of an Investor Activation, Investment Promotion and Attraction Plan.
- Supervision of the Implementation of the Clustering Development
- Supporting the Transfer of Specific Critical Knowledge
