We are currently hiring for a Commercial Lead Vaccines - Nordics (all genders) in full-time, in either of our Nordic locations (Sweden – Stockholm, Denmark – Vallensbaek, Norway – Asker or Finland, Helsinki).

Your tasks in detail:

Business Strategy and Management

  • Lead development and implementation of the Nordic Business Plan including Omni-Channel Engagement Strategy,

  • Follow-through to successful achievement of tactical objectives and milestones outlined within the Brand Plan,

  • Lead segmentation of market and implement strategic positioning for both vaccinators and travelers,

  • Monitor environmental changes and create local strategy plan,

  • Identify actions to strengthen product positioning to maximize brand performance,

  • Anticipate and capitalize on stakeholders’ market trends to create a competitive advantage,

  • Recommend and gain approval from senior management for alternative and innovative approaches to maximize brand opportunities,

  • Monitor on-going developments in the external health policy landscape and act as a sparring partner and source of information for internal functions,

  • Direct generation and analysis of data to seek out opportunities to support recommendations for strategic direction based on demand and market dynamics,

  • Lead and take ownership for key financial tasks for the brand including the development of annual budgets, operating plan, market sales forecasts, quarterly updates, patient flow etc. and follow-up of them,

  • Initiate and achieve the above through effective liaising, networking, and working relationships with the LOCs and other relevant stakeholders,

  • Ensure account plans, objectives and KPIs are transparent to the whole account team and senior leaders (captured in SMILE CRM),

  • Prioritize and manage accounts within assigned territory by assessing appropriate business opportunities through contacts with key decision-makers and important local stakeholders


Communication

  • Develop and maintain strong, effective, and constructive team relationships (agencies, vaccine centers, pharmacies, specialists and their associations, advisory groups) and Key Opinion Leader-networks by taking a leadership role in the communication and liaison between all external customers,

  • Ensure effective communication with all relevant internal and external key stakeholders,

  • Identify and raise relevant issues, and proposing potential solutions, through the appropriate internal and external channels,

  • Regular interactions with KOL to achieve best-in-class customer focus,

  • Implement Omni-Channel Engagement communication approaches to customers, HCP, and travelers.


Risk Management and controls

  • Support the Business Unit Director in managing the company’s risk profile including, (where appropriate), Code of Conduct and the Health and Safety performance of the business,

  • Utilize market insights to assess business risks and opportunities,

  • Identify brand opportunities and issues that require analysis of Business Information to create new approaches or new market opportunities,

  • Operate in a manner that is always in line with compliance and legal requirements and according to the marketing and sales strategies.


Your profile:

Education

  • University degree in the field of commercial, healthcare, science


Experience

  • A minimum 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, of which ideally 3 years within the vaccines business in the Nordics, with experience in commercial, marketing and/or sales,

  • Strong experience and knowledge of vaccine and direct to consumer marketing

  • Proven experience of implementing omni-channel marketing

  • Experience of building co-created initiatives with key health care stakeholders (i.e. KOLs, vaccine clinics) to find ‘win-win-win’

  • Experience in strategic roles and leadership of cross-functional teams, processes, projects


Skills

  • Business fluency in English


Knowledge

  • Understanding of the different Nordic health care environment and vaccines business model,

  • Strong understanding of the Nordic vaccine market especially the travel-market,

  • In-depth knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and codes for pharmaceutical industry in the Nordics,

  • Understanding the decision-making processes and how to manage complex and dynamic work
