Project Developer, Sweden (Remote)

As our new Project Developer, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and negotiating with landowners to obtain land rights to develop utility-scale renewable energy projects. Together with your highly experienced and motivated commercial, legal, and technical colleagues, you contribute to assessing the feasibility and potential of projects and bringing them to the ready-to-build stage. Finally, you will consult and survey partners and subcontractors securing continuous development of our project portfolio in Sweden.

Primary responsibilities
- Develop renewable energy projects with focus on solar (PV) in Sweden from early stage through the investment decision and handover to the construction & operations team
- Negotiate land lease agreements with farmers and other landowners
- Set up agreements with external developers
- Support in the permitting process and coordinate the team of involved internal and external providers and interact with all relevant stakeholder
- Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams with internal departments and external service providers
- Participate in due diligence reviews of existing projects at various stages of development
Your Profile
- You have a university degree or other relevant educational background
- You have experience either within renewable energy development, sales or corporate finance, alternatively public administration within planning/energy, forestry or agriculture
- You have experience in project management, e.g., from a similar role
- You have full professional proficiency in Swedish and English
- You have solid interpersonal skills and enjoy contacting people, represent the company and build relationships
