Health & Safety specialist, Carlsberg Supply Company Denmark
Carlsberg Supply Company Denmark is looking for a Health & Safety specialist. The focus area is Carlsberg Group offices and operations in Valby area across several Carlsberg entities, as an integrated part of the entire organization in Denmark.
The job
You will, together with the HSE department, be responsible for Carlsberg's compliance with Health & Safety, and play an important role of our efforts to bring us further towards our strategy “SAIL 22” and Toward Zero program. The requirements come partly from our customers, partly from the authorities and partly from Carlsberg Supply Company Denmark's high demand to be "Best in Class".
Your responsibilities
The area of responsibility will be Group offices and operations in Valby area across several Carlsberg entities, which is a varied mix of the commercial part - Finance - Laboratory - Development - On / Off trade. In addition, there is a cross-functional responsibility for one of the programs under the auspices of Carlsberg Group HSE, and there is a large outgoing training program which must be performed and implemented throughout the organization.
You are part of our HSE department, where a dedicated team of five employees works across the entire value chain in Carlsberg. The department handles all aspects of Health & Safety, Security and Environment. The tone is unformal and with a wide variance of talented and committed colleagues. We want to be challenged by you and you can expect us to challenge you.
Your place of work will be in Valby, but the wider HSE team in Carlsberg Danmark will primarily be working out of Fredericia, where the main brewery activity in Denmark is located. Therefore, travel to and from meetings with the HSE team is part of the job and will take place on a regular basis.
Your qualifications
You work closely with employees, health and safety representatives and department leaders to create results in a rapidly changing business. You have gained HSE experience from companies with office people and preferably also with research facility and/or restaurants/entertainment facilities. You can collaborate widely across management teams and subject boundaries. Further to that, we expect that you have knowledge within internal and external audits at junior level, occupational health and safety legislation, AT guidelines and best practice – and probably also within safety culture and behavioral programs.
You are high performance oriented and can cope with several topic at the same time. You are used to be working in matrix organizations and have experience from larger, complex organizations. You must have at least 2 years of practical experience within health & safety defined as a value for the organization.
It is natural for you to drive change. You have a structured approach to planning, but at the same time ensures that everyone is involved. You stick to your stakeholders, deadlines, financial framework and manage to communicate widely in a complex organization. Communication in English will be an essential part of your everyday life and we therefore place high demands on your ability to understand and argue about complex issues, both in writing and orally.
