Fertin Pharma is looking for a Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our Strategic Procurement Department. The job is a unique opportunity to step into a position where you will play a key role in solving our procurement challenges and solving a number of exciting projects in collaboration with the rest of the organization.

Fertin Pharma A/S creates innovative pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products based on our oral and intra-oral delivery systems. From product development to commercial supply, Fertin helps our customers create effective, convenient and pleasant products to support healthier living.
Fertin Pharma A/S is owned by Philip Morris International (PMI) and operates as a fully independent company that will assist PMI’s mission of delivering a total Smoke-Free Future. We support the mission through our massive knowledge within the Pharma and nutraceutical business where we support all the large global players with development and manufacturing of new exiting products.
Fertin Pharma A/S has around 1.000 employees - most located in Vejle, and with factories and R&D sites in both Canada and India.
The Strategic Procurement department consists of 8 very strong professionals, owns a substantial 3-digit million DKK annual spend and have +100 strategic suppliers. During the last year we have supported more than +30 new R&D projects, and there is much more to come!
What we are looking for
We have very high ambitions, and we need your personality, skills, and competences to succeed!
Our expectations are that you bring in a strong theoretical background (properly Cand. Merc. or HD), several years’ experience in the food, ingredients or like industry and a proven track record of working with strategic sourcing.
You are a natural at building relations (internal and with suppliers) and you take clear ownership and make things happen!
As you will be part of both new exiting R&D projects and take full ownership of your own supplier portfolio, it is imperative that you are a strong negotiator, can develop supply agreements, are structured and have a keen business focus.
To succeed in the role, you are experienced with:
- establishing and negotiating supply agreements with direct material suppliers
- running sourcing and cost optimizing projects
- risk assessment of direct materials
- defining strategies and roadmaps for risk mitigation actions
- proactive work with suppliers to strengthen the business relation and innovation input
- establishing the right governance model for key suppliers
You are a fast learner, a good communicator, good IT user and hold a strong will to make both you and our team succeed! You should expect 5-20 travel days per year.
