VELUX is currently seeking a motivated Transformation Lead who will be responsible for inspiring and engaging individuals, as well as fostering a culture of change in processes and tools. Our goal is to simplify VELUX’s residential product offering, and to achieve this, we need to introduce innovative approaches while discontinuing outdated practices. Therefore, this role will primarily concentrate on implementing these changes by collaborating with stakeholders in key areas of the value chain: Engineering, Supply, and Marketing/Sales/After Sales operations.

Your Challenges

You will report to Program Director, Product Complexity based in Østbirk. In close collaboration with stakeholders cross functionally, you will work together to drive out product complexity costs from the entire value chain. Initially, this role will focus on mapping the products that drive more cost than the value it creates. For this, a project team with external consultants are newly established.

With the team, you will utilize your project management skills to clean up VELUX residential product offerings internally and externally towards B2B and B2C customers. Engineering, Supply, Sales/Service.

After a period of time, the nature of your role will change, and your responsibility will shift towards preventing that the organization creates unnecessary complexity costs – in a growth agenda. We call this keep clean and it involves implementation of governance structure, processes/tools, and not least mindset of people.

Other tasks:

• Continue the good work to define, measure and analyze current situation
• Deploy small, medium and large size improvement initiatives with Global Product Management, Master Data, Supply, Finance and the markets
• Time and resource planning of a full program of initiatives
• Facilitate workshops and prepare presentations with external consultants
• Navigate the matrix organization via creation of strong relations and breaking the silos
• From learnings during clean-up, implement measures like governance and dashboards to control product complexity in the near future.

You should expect approx. 20 days of travelling per year.

Your Qualifications

There are several different entry points to this role, and today you could, for example, be in a similar position or work as a product manager, project manager, or product owner.

Furthermore, you have gained a significant portion of your experience from larger organizations, which means you understand the opportunities and considerations involved in working within a complex and global matrix organization. As a result, you know how to drive complexity and cost out of the entire value chain.

Moreover, you:

• Have a commercially or technical oriented Master’s degree (e.g. economics, business administration, engineering, IT) and have applied your technical insight in a commercially oriented setting
• Have a solid toolbox of program management skills e.g. planning, risk management, budget management and stakeholder management
• Speak and write English at a professional level
