We are searching for an experienced Procurement Partner to our Procurement Team. You will be key in our strategic efforts to select and manage 3rd party suppliers within the fintech industry.

[xxxxx] is transforming into a leading fintech integrator for Danish banks by strengthening our product offering and transforming the technology estate.

A central part of this journey is [xxxxx]’s tech transformation where contracts with 3rd party IT suppliers will be a natural and continuous part of the operating model.

As a Procurement Partner you will facilitate the procurement process and coordinate the cooperation across [xxxxx]. In [xxxxx], procurement is not just procurement as [xxxxx] is a part of a regulated financial sector. For you, this means that you need to be able to manage multiple stakeholders, business needs, and compliance requirements.

You will act as a strategic sparring partner and trusted advisor to your business stakeholders, wherein you, among other things, will proactively drive the end-to-end process from procurement opportunity assessments, maturing opportunities into concrete initiatives, to strategic planning and execution in accordance with [xxxxx]’s overall strategic priorities.

Further, you will be responsible for commercial negotiations with 3rd party IT suppliers, leveraging your market and business insights as well as your negotiation and analytical skillset. The position is based at our office in Roskilde in Denmark or Warsaw in Poland.

At [xxxxx], we work in a hybrid remote model, coming into the office 3 days a week and working remotely for 2 days.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

In the position as Procurement Partner, you will work closely with contract owners, contract managers, Legal & Compliance, Security, Architecture, Operations, vendors, and other stakeholders in [xxxxx].

  • Produce and maintain overview of strategic activities and opportunities within the areas of responsibilities
  • Overall responsible for the sourcing process including negotiation, compliance, contract & vendor management etc.
  • Facilitate and drive the involvement of all stakeholders in the procurement process.
  • Secure best practices are observed in all procurement processes.
  • Document and maintain documentation of the procurement process.

To succeed you will have:

  • +10 years of experience from the financial sector as Category or Vendor Manager working with IT procurement.
  • Experience from consulting will be viewed as an advantage.
  • An educational background at Master´s level within Business Administration, Supply Chain or IT.
  • Strong business understanding and knowledge and proportional analytical skills to structure and identify business needs.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate effectively to all levels in the organisation.
  • Ability to structure, facilitate and support processes and stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
