As Digital Procurement Specialist on the Digital Procurement Excellence team you will have an important role in defining how procurement operates over the next decade!

Reporting to the Head of Digital Procurement Excellence, with dotted lines to regional management, you will get broad exposure to many Maersk teams which will provide you with great development opportunities in the future.

This role provides digital operational expertise to regional procurement, as well as supports in setting the vision and identifying opportunities for how technology can support our business objectives.

This means that you will drive everything from system admin to leading trainings on eAuction theory & identifying new automation opportunities.

Since no two days are the same in this position you are expected to be ‘Fast, Fun, and Friendly’, and are comfortable working with a wide variety of stakeholders and ambiguity. You should have a digital curiosity that causes you to think about things in a different way than the past, exploring potential, rather than limitations.

Key responsibilities

• Support local procurement teams in planning, executing, and analyzing advanced tenders & e-Auctions

• Support in our global standardization and simplification efforts, and ensure proper utilization of tools and best practice

• Deliver strategic and operational training for our digital procurement toolbox

• Monitor digital utilization & engage internal stakeholders to drive further adoption (e.g. rate repository, contract management, digitized negotiations)

• Configuration of the systems (cloud based solutions) and provide technical support

• Using data as a strategic asset to identify opportunities

• Work closely with functional and platform product owners to develop and launch new digital initiatives.

We are looking for

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in an international procurement organization - alternatively you are a fresh graduate.
