Associate Procurement Contractor for Genmab

Genmab is now searching for Procurement/Accounts Payable Associates to be a part of the global Shared Service Center (SSC) located in Copenhagen, Princeton, and Utrecht.

As responsible Operational Procurement Associate, you will be executing (local and global) purchasing and accounts payable activities and order fulfilment to support all Genmab portfolio initiatives. With effective communication and teamwork, you are the link between our internal organization and our suppliers.

Genmab is rolling out SAP during Q2/Q3 2022, so it is important that you are willing and capable to the share your knowledge and experience with SAP into a practical and effective SSC team which is being created as we speak.

You will be part of the Global Procurement team and report to the Team Lead, Shared Service Center located in Copenhagen Denmark.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check vendor creation requests from our internal customers
• Perform Due Diligence on the suggested vendors and subsequently create vendors in the SAP Vendor Master
• Create and Execute, monitor and control global and local purchasing, and order fulfilment management (e.g. create purchase orders from purchase requisitions, track open orders).
• Handle daily supply issues to guarantee business continuity
• Monitor and follow-up on Goods receipts transactions
• Establish good relations with suppliers and ensure urgent orders delivered quick or find alternative products
• You will work closely with the colleagues across both Global Finance and Global Procurement
• You need to communicate with colleagues and internal customers at all levels, delivering the expected results on time and quality
• Support continuous improvement activities, such as savings, automation, working capital improvements, etc., through pro-active monitoring of the transactions/activities
• Accuracy is an important part of your job is the proper administration of all purchasing related data in our ERP system
• Ability to work without direct supervision is paramount as your direct manager is located outside your location, so a strong sense of ownership, responsibility and self-drive is vital to the success of the Team

What we ask

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level
• Previous work experience with SAP (MM and/or FI, Fiori) within operational and tactical procurement teams and/or accounts payable
• The ability to work without daily supervision, as your immediate manager may be located abroad
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills during interactions with colleagues and 3rd party vendors
• You are result- and goal-oriented and committed to contributing to the overall success of Genmab
• Strong customer service skills required
• Experience within BioTech or the Pharma industry is desired, but not required
• P2P experience (Ariba, Coupa, etc.) would be a strong asset
• Business level of English language both verbal and written
• Experience with MS Office tool box e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
