Procurement Project Manager, Power-to-X

Your new team

You will be part of our PtX-department which today consists of 60 committed colleagues. We are currently working on several utility-scale projects in Denmark as well as North and South America. As Procurement Project Manager, you will have an important role in the team and get the chance to work with some of the biggest PtX-plants in an innovative department.

Your new role

You will be part of a small and dedicated procurement team in our PtX-department. Your primary role will be to ensure timely procurement of selected categories in close cooperation with the project team where you will bring a commercial and strategic mindset to the supplier selection and sourcing process.

Your tasks will include:

• In close cooperation with the technical lead prepare and issue inquiries/RFQ’s and lead the tender process, commercial evaluation of offers, negotiating supply contracts/placing orders in a timely manner and in accordance with specific project requirements.
• Ensure that approved changes are covered by amendments to the original purchase order/contract.
• Follow and update procurement project time schedule and project procurement management plan for selected categories and communicate to the project manager and project team about any changes to the procurement time schedule.
• Category management and responsibility for specific product groups including entering into framework agreements and continuously updating supplier landscape for selected categories.
• Perform supplier evaluation and registration in accordance with EE procedure.
• Execute and coordinate supplier performance assessments in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders (technical leads, site managers, commissioning teams).
• Participate in optimization/development projects for procurement-related tasks.

Job prerequisites

• A degree in Business Management or Supply Chain Management or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with project procurement preferably from the energy or process sector.
• You are proficient in written and spoken English.
• Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and preferably SharePoint.

You are enthusiastic, proactive, and results-driven. You possess solid problem-solving skills and you work in a structured and detail-oriented manner, and you are committed to delivering high quality while you keep and maintain the overview to meet deadlines. You are able to work independently in a fast-paced changing environment. You have good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with and manage a diverse group of stakeholders.
