Innovative Space Company is looking for a Commercial Product Manager
For our Products team, we are looking for a Commercial Product Manager. They will have the opportunity to become part of an internationally oriented and dedicated team aiming at providing exceptional Nanosatellite solutions to customers on the global market.
You will have the opportunity to support this new, strategic direction that implies increased professionalism around product management and new product development to maximise our value of both existing and new products.
The role as Commercial Product Manager can be supported from any GomSpace facility in Denmark, Luxembourg, Sweden, or France. However, you must use significant time in our headquarter in Aalborg, Denmark. You will work closely with the Chief Product Officer, head of departments for our three product departments (Radio, Platform, Software), as well as Product Owners organised within these departments and the Sales organisation.
As Commercial Product Manager, your responsibilities will be to evaluate product portfolio and roadmap fit to market conditions and sales strategy, provide data and market feedback to product development projects, and furthermore to provide sales forecasting and product life-cycle planning.

The Job Includes the Following Set of Tasks:
- Actively contribute and be the Voice of Product in the GomSpace market and competitor analysis to ensure aligned and refined input to roadmap process
- Evaluate/propose “productisation” route of existing non-standard offering in GomSpace portfolio
- Develop and maintain business cases within investment projects
- Develop high-level product story & commercial requirements
- Prepare and execute product launch with the Marketing team
- Support sales forecasting with the manufacturing organisation and Sales
- Actively contribute to product positioning including pricing for product portfolio in the view to optimise earnings.
- Analyse buying patterns (product options) and suggest improvements
- Perform product life cycle planning in collaboration with Product Owners
We expect the Employee to Have the Following Qualifications:
- A relevant Bachelor of Science or a higher degree in a technical field (physics, electronics, software, communication, or systems engineering)
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in relevant positions
- A broad overview of space technology and spacecraft design
- Experience within the commercial side of business operations
- Strong communication skills both vocally and in writing as well as in presentations
- The ability to approach problem-solving top-down
- The ability to interface and collaborate with different personalities from the very technical to the very commercial-minded
- Driven to deliver
