Play a significant part in developing and optimising a record-breaking product
Do you have what it takes to lead and drive our Product Creation department? Do you have strong leadership skills and experience managing and motivating product and tools specialists?
You will be overall responsible and lead the Product Creation department currently consisting 10 employees divided into two teams. The Product Creation department is part of Product Development in our Technology organisation and responsible for WTG and system/module level specification, tools specification, product configuration and product data requirements as well as the CAD and VR systems.
Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
…secure that all product and tools requirements are identified, designed, optimised and verified during the product development process. As Director, you will take ownership of selected projects within Technology and be responsible for all people management tasks in the department.
You will also be responsible for:
Establish communication and coordination with primary stakeholders across the value chain Ensure high quality specifications (scoping) of product and tools requirements towards external stakeholders Secure organisational buy-in Change Management process for product- and tools-related requirements Secure input to test and verification activities in MHI Vestas Ensure applicable certification is upheld as required Secure optimal Product Configuration to accommodate business needs
Skills & experience: Our new colleague…
…has a technical background with a relevant education, e.g. within Engineering. You have experience with delivering design solutions to a manufacturing environment as well as at least 5 years of management experience preferably within a large engineering/design organisation. It would be a great asset if you have wind industry experience. You are a strong and experienced in stakeholder management and communication.
