As Category Lead in Devices & Needles, you will secure supply robustness and additional capacity for our pre-filled device platforms across therapeutical areas in . Specifically, you will be responsible for developing and anchoring global category strategies as well as securing strong commercial agreements with external partners to enable continued growth of . Your main focus include: Developing category related market insights with the purpose of identifying trends and dynamics to ensure that relevant sourcing opportunities and risks are identified and acted upon Preparing category strategies within your area of responsibility depicting the strategic direction for how to secure robust supply for both short term and long term Guaranteeing that category fundamentals, such as contracting, supplier collaboration structures, and risk assessments are in place and managed Ensuring relevant sourcing advise to support Novo Nordisk innovation and decision making with a time horizon of up to 10 years Building strong collaboration with external partners (CMOs) as well as internal stakeholders Facilitate decision making for large scale expansions and investments internally and externally at senior management level As we are collaborating with partners all over the world, some travels might be needed Qualifications To be successful in this position, we imagine you: Hold a master’s degree or equivalent in supply chain, business, engineering or any other relevant field Possess a strong background within procurement or strategic sourcing preferably obtained within a manufacturing/production environment Demonstrate the ability to build category strategies using market trends Collaborate closely with a broad stakeholder landscape which also include top management Are fluent in both spoken and written English As a person, you have a strategic mindset and an ability to quickly understand different business models and industry dynamics. You can put strategy into action by breaking the bigger picture down into specific supply chain related decisions. Additionally, you enjoy working in a multicultural and high-pace environment and bring a ‘can-do attitude’, and a healthy sense of humour to your work also when under pressure. Global Strategic Outsourcing & Devices (GSOD) is the central sourcing unit in ’s Product Supply division managing outsourcing of manufacturing. We are responsible for securing that we have CMOs and suppliers in place to support ’s worldwide pharmaceutical production. Through collaboration with our international supplier networks, we ensure availability of the supply needed to develop and produce products that helps millions of people around the world to live with chronical diseases. You will join Devices & Needles, a team that ensures the global supply of Devices and Needles across network. You will be surrounded by 10 international colleagues and can expect to continue your development within the sourcing domain. Working at
