The positionAs Associate Strategy Partner, your role involves driving a wide range of projects that support the management and organizational direction in Strategic Sourcing Inbound Materials & Services (SSIMS). You own diverse assignments within a fast-growing organization, collaborating across departments and supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives. Your will work alongside another Associate Strategy Partner to drive various cross-departmental management process and activities. Additionally, you prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders, providing high quality analysis to support informed decision- making.Your key responsibilities include:
  • Managing strategic projects across the business area, ensuring objectives and milestones are met while effectively prioritising, planning, and following-up
  • Participating in the management’s continuous refinement of the organisational strategy, ensuring that ambitions are turned into reality
  • Identifying key stakeholders across the organisation, proactively engaging and challenging them in dialogue
  • Assisting with organising monthly management meetings, unit meetings, and off-sites, ensuring the agenda items are aligned with the strategic agenda of the unit
  • Acting as a sparring partner, offering recommendations and insights to all parties involved
    • As a member of the team, we will encourage you to contribute to the continuous improvement of our everyday work as well as more tactical initiatives. QualificationsTo be successful in this role, we believe you:
  • Hold a master’s degree in business administration, management, economics, project management, or a related discipline
  • Show eagerness in utilizing project tools and efficiently tracking progress, while effectively prioritizing activities across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Possess the ability to ensure effective communication across all levels, along with curiosity and confidence to dive into new challenges
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both spoken and written English
    • On a personal level, you possess strong networking skills and are able to communicate in a clear manner, effectively navigating a complex landscape with many stakeholders involved. You take a structured approach to your work and thrive in working independently across a diverse and dynamic business environment. You efficiently handle challenges and drive progress in our projects, ensuring that the direction is clean and that results are successfully delivered. Lastly, you are a true team-player, fostering collaboration and sharing knowledge with your colleagues. About the departmentSSIMS is one of the central sourcing units in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division, responsible for medium- and long-term strategic sourcing activities, which involves global identification and strategic management of suppliers for Novo Nordisk’s worldwide pharmaceutical production sites. We also work with – and support – our colleagues in our sister unit, Global Strategic Outsourcing & Devices (GSOD).You will be part of Sourcing Intelligence & Business Support CoE, where we drive cross-unit assessment and projects, represent the unit in different fora outside our area and contribute with value-adding sparring to the category management and sourcing departments in SSIMS/GSOD. The disciplines that we represent and tailor for include sourcing/scenario analytics, financial advisory, market intelligence, quality management and business intelligence.You enter a thorough, yet fast-paced and ambitious environment, where we collaborate closely with stakeholders inside and outside the sourcing units. The office is in the Product Supply HQ in Bagsværd (note that in February we will relocate to Taastrup), where 20 talented colleagues in the Sourcing Intelligence & Business Support CoE look forward to welcoming you.
