Reapplix – a Danish MedTech company – has established that one of the keys to successful wound treatment lies in the body’s own capacity to heal. The patented 3C Patch® System produces a personalized wound therapy on demand in a simple 20-minute process using a small sample of the patient’s own blood. Diabetic Foot Ulcers are a serious consequence of diabetes and around 60% of all patients experience a wound that does not heal. Reapplix aims to transform the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers and improve the quality of life for patients. 3C Patch® is clinically proven to significantly accelerate wound healing, nearly doubling the chance of healing, and improve wound reduction of hard-to-heal diabetic foot ulcers.
Reapplix recently secured significant funding and is now ready to drive commercialization – especially in the US. Therefore, you now have the unique opportunity to become their new Procurement Manager, and to become part of empowering and ensuring the success of an exciting growth journey. You will play a key role, continually developing and improving manufacturing and supply chain excellence to support significant business growth, in a company where ambitions are immense, and the technology is state of the art.
Responsible for suppliers and sub-contractors that matches the business growth
As Procurement Manager, you will be working closely with stakeholders within finance and operations as well as you will be working closely with the rest of the organisation to ensure full alignment between business needs, suppliers and supply chain. Therefore, you have a genuine interest in setting up and developing best-in-class set up with a combination of in-house and external suppliers.
You will manage key sub-contractors and be responsible for building processes and relations to these key suppliers. The scope and number of contractors are likely to expand over the coming years depending on the strategy. You will report directly to Chief Operation Officer, Carsten Heinze.
Your tasks will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Create and maintain supplier relation processes and ensure contract coverage
- Build strategic relationships and partnerships with key suppliers and sub-contractors
- Manage logistics partner organisations, to deliver on-time in-full
- Lead projects to identify, validate and qualify new second sources of supply vendors
- Participate in development and technical tasks contributing to the continued improvement and quality assurance of the product portfolio
- Measure and report on the performance of the supply chain and assess towards goals
Strong supply chain profile with good interpersonal skills
To succeed in this role, you must have great experience from similar medical device or pharma positions and preferably have experience with ISO 13485. Due to the nature of the Reapplix business, we prefer if you have solid experience with managing both in-house supply and sub-contractors. You know what it requires to build a solid relationship with them, but at the same time have everything in place to ensure that you can deliver according to the sales budgets. It is highly important that you have a structured approach to everything you do, while meeting deadlines and maintaining pace. Further, you enjoy working in a scaleup company, heading towards something tremendous, and have the drive and passion to take on the responsibility of engaging in and ensuring the future success of Reapplix. Moreover, you should have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and a high level of IT skills.
