Where do you come in?
We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Business Developer Executive. You will be a part of our Strategy team located in Esbjerg, where you will report to the Senior Vice President of Service, Digital and Strategy.
In the Strategy department we focus on improving our business. Our primary focus is on project management and we collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
If you have a strategic mindset and understand organizational dynamics in complex business environments, then please read on. We need an analytical and structured colleague with great interpersonal and communication skills, who can contribute and assist in projects across our global value chain.
Primary tasks and responsibilities
In a truly global organization as ours, excellent spoken and written English is necessary. Knowledge of Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement.
You probably have at least 5 years of work experience within Management Consulting and/or a proven track record in similar position, either in Denmark or abroad. The depth and breadth of out projects is huge so the role can be adapted to both talents early in their career and very senior profiles.
Your educational background is probably on a master level in a business administration or engineering.
In short, if you are skilled within Business Development, ambitious and interested in a career in international business - you will fit right into this role.
Your residence is in the Esbjerg area or the Triangle Region of Jutland. Alternatively, you are willing to move to the area, either from another location in Denmark or perhaps from abroad.
You should expect 40 travel days globally per year once the world return to post COVID-19 restrictions.

- Work with business development from competitor intel over M&A to post merger integration
- Participate in larger cross-organizational improvement projects
- Manage Business Excellence projects
- Gather data and prepare presentations for the management team of VIKING
- Develop presentations, business plans, analysis and other materials related hereto
- Participate in driving an organizational and business excellence culture in VIKING
