DLG is looking for an IT procurement category manager who wants to be part of our journey of standardization and be responsible for optimization of our IT procurement processes across the DLG Group.
As Category Manager for IT, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations, supervision, negotiations and optimization of IT procurement across the companies in DLG Group, covering both the Danish and German entities.
Your task is to develop and drive IT procurement strategies and initiatives in collaboration with main stakeholders in Group IT and other internal IT customers, and in close cooperation with our regional procurement departments. You will report into the Group IT department with reference to the Senior Manager, IT Security & Controlling.

Your responsibilities:
- Provide IT category advice and knowledge to key stakeholders.
- Drive IT procurement efficiency and synergies across our business units.
- Act as account manager towards key suppliers and establish strong relationships to ensure service delivery.
- Handle IT sourcing contracts, subscriptions, and licenses.
- Prepare and lead contract negotiations.
- Develop performance metrics and monitor KPIs for key IT suppliers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague with:
- Deep knowledge of the commercial IT market.
- “Internal customer” orientation with persuading and influencing skills
- A good understanding of the connection between IT and business
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Experience within category and contract management
- A collaborative mentality and a team-worker.
- Strong resilience and with the ability to prioritise and follow tasks all the way through.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- You are proficient in Danish and English, and good German skills are definitely a plus.
