Scalepoint is looking for a Nordic Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Category Manager who is a team player and passionate about category management, sourcing, negotiation, building & maintaining strong partnerships with both internal collaborators as well as external suppliers. Is that you?

The job is based in the headquarter in Copenhagen, and approximately 15-20 days of travel in Scandinavia is to be expected per year.
As the new Nordic Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Category Manager, your main task will be to ensure that the customers have access to a portfolio of highly competitive agreements.
You welcome the opportunity to take full ownership of your own categories across the countries where we operate. You pride yourself in running them efficiently and ensuring that the contractually agreed benefits reach the customers – understanding the full end-to-end value chain. Your focus is on continuously optimizing these categories, and you develop strategies with a long-term perspective. To do so, you stay close to the market to identify opportunities as they arise.
Furthermore, you are confident in talking and presenting at all levels in the organization. You take an active role in communicating internally to the customers and the suppliers, whether the subject is the overall strategy, status of categories or something else.
You are both analytical and strategic in your approach to working with suppliers. You understand that an agreement is only truly viable if it is a benefit to both parties, and you are not afraid to be hands-on when it comes to going the extra mile to make this happen.
You have 3-5 years' experience from similar positions within category management and negotiation - entering into and optimizing win-win Framework Agreements.
You must be able to write and speak Danish & English fluently.
You are great at building and maintaining relationships and your commitment to your team is important to you. You are a self-starter, you take responsibility and involve both internal and external stakeholders to drive your categories forward. As a person, you understand that making mistakes is part of learning and taking ownership.
