At the beginning of 2021 we introduced the corporate 5-year strategy “Rolling Towards “2025” and we have built the plans on how to contribute to the success - the Int. Brand Manager will be key to this success.
The Int. Brand Manager reports to the Marketing Manager and is based in our headquarter in Gentofte. The Int. Brand manager oversees the full marketing cycle, spanning across development of growth plans and key market initiatives, partnering with the Operations team on product development, and the Commercial Excellence and market teams on securing the execution, while continuous searching for pockets of growth in the category.
The Int. Brand Manager will:
To succeed in this position and build a career in Scandinavian Tobacco Group the right candidate has solid experience within marketing management on category and brand level from leading FMCG companies. The desire to work with international categories and brands is essential to the success, and the right candidate has accumulated significant insights into consumers in general, along with a proven track record of driving business development projects. Solid business and commercial understanding is a must, and experience with project management is an strong advantage – this includes stakeholder management. Interpersonal skills and project management skills enables the Int. Brand Manager to network and build relations across national borders as well as between functions.

The Int. Brand Manager will:
- drive the strategic and commercial business agenda for the brand
- analyse brand, category and market developments, and secure corrective actions in regards to different and new product development
- drive brand centered business development and portfolio management in support of our markets
- continuously improve the brand positioning to secure relevance and meaning for our consumers
- drive brand experience that brings positioning to life and ensures the brand awareness and sell-through
- ideate, initiate and develop innovation projects that targets pockets of growth in strong collaboration with the Innovation team and Operations
- ideate, initiate, develop and execute simplification opportunities to support the gross profit of the brand
- handle the daily business, both internally and externally.

Moreover the right candidate:
- has a creative mind-set and understand how to analyze and utilize trends, consumer behaviour and market developments
- has solid business understanding, experience with project management and profound understanding of marketing fundamentals
- has outstanding communication skills and are fluent in English; both spoken and written.
- is not easily ruffled, thrive with high level of dynamic circumstances and have the ability to balance focus on both long-term pipeline and short term project execution, as well continuous tracking / post analysis.
