Summary:

As a Brand Activation Manager Next Generation Oral DKSE at Scandinavian Tobacco Group, your main responsibility will be to develop and implement the local marketing strategy in close collaboration with the local Marketing Manager, central Brand Marketing, and Commercial Excellence teams. You will be the link from strategy to execution and work closely with the sales team to ensure that the execution of the strategy is followed through. You will be responsible for the marketing activities for pouched products in both Denmark and Sweden including border regions and Greenland and Faroe Islands. Your role will oversee all our activities within Nicotine Pouches and Modern Actives in the region. Next-generation products are expected to be the growth driver in the coming years. You will be based in Copenhagen, reporting directly to Marketing Manager - Denmark & Sweden. The marketing team currently consists of 4 people including this role. You will together with the team also be involved in driving the development of our core tobacco categories.

What can you expect as a Brand Activation Manager Next Generation Oral at Scandinavian Tobacco Group?

  • Driving the development and day to day execution of the local portfolio, price and activation strategy, and commercial plan in close collaboration with manager, global teams and local sales team.
  • Developing and executing marketing campaigns, plans and activities: You will be responsible for creating and implementing effective marketing campaigns to promote the company's products. This will involve identifying the target audience, creating messaging, and selecting the most effective channels to reach the target consumer.
  • Collaborating with the sales team: You will work closely with the sales team to ensure that the marketing campaigns are executed as per plan. This will involve regular communication and coordination to ensure that the marketing activities are integrated with the sales strategy.
  • Be the engine to further develop our digital agenda with a focus on both B2B and B2C.
  • Conducting market research: You will be part of market research to identify consumer trends, preferences, and behavior. This information will be used to inform the development of marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Managing budgets: You will be responsible for managing marketing budgets, ensuring that funds are allocated effectively to achieve maximum impact.
  • Analyzing campaign performance: You will be responsible for analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and using this information to improve future campaigns.
  • Developing marketing materials: Together with internal and external partners, you will be responsible for developing marketing materials, such as brochures, advertisements, and promotional materials, to support the marketing campaigns both online and in traditional retail channels.
  • Managing external agencies: You will work closely with external agencies, such as advertising agencies and PR firms, to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
  • You will be working in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders in HQ as well as in the local sales team. The role has significant exposure and needs to be able to navigate efficiently across hierarchies.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field;
  • 3-5 years of experience in tobacco or consumer goods marketing, with a focus on brand activation;
  • Experience in marketing nicotine pouches and other next-generation categories;
  • Experience in portfolio and price management;
  • Experience in product launches, in-store activation, and online activation;
  • Experience in online B2B and B2C marketing;
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with market research and data analysis;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Swedish and Danish are an advantage;
