As our Project Procurement Professional, you will be working closely with the Project Procurement Leads, Procurement Managers, Category Managers, Contract Managers and internal partners in Novo Nordisk HQ. Your key role will be to support the Procurement Leads and the wider project organisation with matters related to procurement administration, systems, tools and policies while ensuring that Novo Nordisk policies and guidelines are adhered to.You can also look forward to:
  • Coordinating and facilitating procurement and contract management meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that the wider project team is trained and supported in defined procurement and contract management processes, including procurement policies, ethical standards, operational procedures, tools & systems.
  • Ensuring that contract databases and systems are updated and their quality is regularly reviewed.
  • Supporting the contract finalization, uploading and approval, as well as securing the issue and overview of confidentiality agreements with partners and sub-suppliers.
  • Supporting ongoing procurement and contract management reporting and communicating general procurement-related information within the project.
  • You will also take part in the ongoing process optimization, which includes identifying optimization initiatives.As part of this exciting career opportunity, you can expect some travelling, up to 20 days / year.Qualifications
    To succeed in this role, we expect that you have:
  • An academic degree in Economics, Engineering, Business, Legal or similar.
  • +2 years of relevant theoretical and/or practical experience within procurement or a similar function
  • Basic knowledge of strategic procurement and contract management processes.
  • A proven track record of managing several tasks simultaneously in an efficient and structured manner.
  • You are proficient in both written and spoken English.

  • As a person, you are reliable, loyal, and service-minded. You work well with tight deadlines and are interested in expanding your knowledge about procurement processes. You are a dedicated team player with the ability and wish to take on responsibilities in support of your colleagues.
    About the department
    Join us at 25L API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) Capacity Expansion and become a part of one of Novo Nordisk’s most significant expansion projects, embedded in Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD). In BRD, we are building a new API production facility in Hillerød that will employ around 340 colleagues. The highly automated production facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will also expand our portfolio of clinical late phase products and increase our capacity to serve more people living with rare disease and serious chronic diseases.To drive the project and reach the initial phase of production, we need your support.
