Faerch PROCUREMENT GRADUATE PROGRAMME
Are you eager to apply your theoretical skills in an international procurement and supply chain function, supporting the Senior Management? Are you willing to challenge the way Faerch runs its procurement and supply chain functions across the business units? Then we have an opportunity for you to join our business and show us what you can do!
The Procurement Graduate Programme is an exciting and challenging 18-month Programme beginning in October 2021, consisting of three rotations of six months each, including international project experience.
As a Procurement Graduate, we offer you a chance to experience and enhance the existing practices within the Group Procurement function.
In Group Procurement you are responsible for analytical work related to procurement projects. Developing the recycled procurement activities is one of the major projects. Another is identifying opportunities with Maersk-line in connection with import of material from Asia and USA.
Additionally, your tasks and responsibilities include:
The Program will strengthen your development and business knowledge by introducing touchpoints with Sales, Production, Group Development, Group Controlling, Planning and Logistics functions to gain insight into KPIs management, value stream, planning tools etc.
As you progress through the Programme you will take on projects that involve working at our other sites outside of Denmark. This could be for a few days or for up to 6 months depending on the project. You can expect to be involved in several projects outside of Denmark.

Additionally, your tasks and responsibilities include:
- Participation in larger negotiations and status meetings with Faerch suppliers.
- Support the integration process in Italy and Poland.
- Preparing cost-benefit analysis reports etc for review by managers.
- Determining supply needs and researching potential suppliers.
- Monitoring the company's demand for products to avoid supply shortages.
- Keeping track of vendor and supplier-related activities in the industry.
- Working closely with relevant stakeholders and our planning and development team to identify opportunities for improvements and cost savings.
- Engage with the different factories to design, and supply, fit for purpose and flexible solutions and clearance strategies.

WE ARE CALLING TALENTS
- Graduating no later than the Summer 2021, or close to the final thesis.
- A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, e.g. HA or Cand. Merc. in Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, International Business Development or similar.
- Achieved high grades through the study and ambitious to be among the best in your professional field.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, and are open to potentially spending part of the Programme abroad.
- With high-level analytical skills, cooperative mindset and problem-solving attitude.
- Advanced user of Excel or with a strong interest of working with the tool and advance.
- Possessing a strong will, self-motivation and personal drive.
- Being able to sell own ideas, explaining them with the passion and respect and being persistent, if required.
- A pro-active and independent profile with the ability to seek out solutions and act upon them.
- A flexible and adaptable mindset that allows you to get inspired from the places you see and the people you meet.
- An ambitious, but yet humble and loyal personality.
