About the department

Biopharm QA API is a dynamic department with 35 employees, divided in 3 teams. We are responsible for Quality Assurance associated with the manufacturing of the API used in Novo Nordisk’s Haemophilia-, growth hormone and glucagon portfolio. You will become part of a committed team of 7 colleagues, which have a high level of self-governance. The working relations are informal and the team value professional sparring and good humour highly.

The team is responsible for the quality assurance of the production process for cultivation and purification processes across our sites in Hillerød, Gentofte and Kalundborg. Therefore, it is expected in periods to be flexible working at different locations.

About the job
In this position, you will have a challenging business day and in close cooperation with your colleagues identify and contribute to the strengthening of our stakeholders’ compliance level. You will get a solid understanding of manufacturing facilities used for API production and you will learn about the production of products to the market. You will be responsible for ensuring quality of our API productions and supporting areas regarding environment and utilities, handling of deviations, change controls and SOP up-dates, hence confirming our products are manufactured according to marketing authorisations.

A big part of the job is being present in production on a daily basis and setting quality direction for the ongoing manufacturing processes. Therefore, we have a close collaboration with our associated production units, focusing on an honest, open and constructive dialogue and collaboration.

Qualifications

We are currently looking for candidates with an educational background in pharmacy, chemical engineering or Master of Science degree and from previous work have a high passion for quality.

Preferably you have 5-6 years of related work experience in QA or GMP production, and previous experience with digitalization of work processes will be an advantage as we are on a very exciting digital transformation journey.

Your language skills cover proficiency in both Danish and English. As a person, you are known for a high commitment in finding constructive solutions as well as taking responsibility for your assignments. You have a structured approach to your work and always see your tasks through. You find energy in handling daily routine tasks, - it goes without saying you having a strong sense of quality as well as team spirit and you contribute positively to the well-being and balance of the team. You are known to be independent and decisive when the situation calls for it.

Finally, you know the value of sharing knowledge and seeking constructive feedback in order for you and us to develop and improve our competences.
