If you are an experienced project and/or transformation manager with a passion for process optimization and a digital mindset, you could be the one we are looking for to strengthen our focus on end to end processes and policies globally
This is an opportunity to join a Maersk Procurement team and put your mark on our process landscape, digital transformation and global policies. As a team we are spread across the world and you will get to interact with all of us across categories and geographies.
You will be the business driver for setting the global procurement framework and digital agenda within our areas of responsibility. You will work with the procurement teams in the local operational clusters and centrally based digital procurement team to understand needs and prioritize and drive value generating solutions across L&S and Ocean categories.
You will build policies, procedures and operating models with end users in mind while at the same time enhance the global procurement toolbox. You will also be the engagement lead towards Group Internal Audit and Risk and Compliance teams to ensure we have a continuous resilient yet agile risk and compliance program globally.
The responsibilities in this role require a collaborative mindset, good understanding of procurement processes, future requirements and how to drive projects forward across multiple teams, categories and locations. This will give unique insights to the entire Logistics & Services and Ocean scope and is an opportunity to identify and unlock additional value.
The position is based in Copenhagen. Travel will be limited.
• Responsible for the procurement framework and digital agenda globally for L&S and Ocean
• Develop and implement global solutions, tools, policies and frameworks together with relevant teams (Local Procurement teams, Digital Procurement, Finance, Cost Control)
• Ensure compliance with the standard procurement process (e.g. 6 sourcing steps)
• Track the annual cost plans and forecasts and own standard processes around procurement game plans
• Close coordination with other departments looking at overall cost development and initiatives to optimize and standardize data views
• Own digital rate repositories and be the procurement liaison in the Procure to Pay process, including coordination with global payment and cost control teams
• Ensure new digital procurement tools for ease of business
• Own the implementation and transformation into a fully governed automated setup for contract creation and data transfer
• Business owner and contact for platforms linked to procurement processes (except TMS)
• Actively participate in the Procurement Contract Management community
• Own the relationship and engagement with Group Internal Audit and Risk and Compliance to ensure strong process compliance and risk triggers are identified and implemented.
The ideal candidate will be inspiring change and be a project leader that can take the procurement teams on a global process transformation journey and handle multiple projects at same time with different drivers and stakeholders.
Furthermore you:
• Are a strong believer in process excellence that can design and implement global policies and frameworks across multiple locations, teams and system landscapes
• Have Procurement/Supply Chain experience – preferably in a global set up
• Have transformation experience with a successful track record in (co-)building robust long-term roadmap
• Have experience with digital transformations
• Have change Management experience in a matrix and global environment
• Have the ability to develop strong cross-functional relationships and to influence and impact without authority
• Thrive with building partnerships and working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to meet shared objectives and create company value
• Have basic understanding of Procurement and/or Procure to Pay processes
• Have excellent written and verbal communicator in English.
