Then here is your unique opportunity to join Maersk as Indirect Procurement Business Development Manager. Here, you will join the Indirect Procurement Business Development team, where you will play an active role in a range of exciting projects, from leading M&A projects from a procurement perspective, to managing various internal and external business development projects.

You will be working closely with the Procurement team across the globe and you will have a direct impact on assessing the procurement practices of potential new M&A targets as well as ensuring that announced acquisitions are integrated to Maersk procurement process and policies.
Key responsibilities
- Act as Project Manager, Consultant, Facilitator, Communicator and Bridge Builder.
- Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure our M&A projects will be a success.
- Ensure that the procurement community is engaged and aligned on what procurement procedures and platforms should be in place once an M&A is finalised.
- Conduct due diligence on procurement practices of potential future M&A targets
- Align with other M&A workstreams (ex: finance, legal, operations, IT …) to ensure that interdependencies are addressed
- Manage business development projects, including our relationship with key external partners
We are looking for
Our employees represent a wide range of educational backgrounds, work experience and nationalities - most important to us are your personal skills. You must thrive in a fast paced, fast changing, and dynamic environment and be a true team player with strong analytical abilities as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
You:
- Have at least 3-5 years of experience from a larger enterprise organisation, with deep knowledge of Procurement
- Are capable of getting stakeholder buy-in and alignment to standard processes and best practice
- Have a structured approach to work and ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Have strong project management experience
- Have proven analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail
- Are a self-starter and capable of working independently
- Have the ability to influence without authority and strong interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships at all organizational levels
- Have demonstrated experience in successfully implementing change in complex organizations.
- Are willing to travel (expected travel time of 20 days a year)
- Are international in your mind-set supported by high level of proficiency and confidence in spoken and written English
You will have significant responsibility from the start and are expected to execute and deliver on time and with a great sense of detail.
