Quality Assurance Engineer

Quality system – Broad operational role – Team player
As our new Quality Engineer, you will be part of our team located in Copenhagen, where you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining our quality system and ensure excellent quality in our products and processes. You will be responsible for quality tools and for the quality system applied in the company, which ensures that that we meet our internal standards and our customers expectations.
You will work closely with the Production Manager and COO, and therefore you will have a big influence on how the quality system is built and applied in our operation. As Quality assurance covers many aspects of the production phase, you will have a broad interface in the organization. Moreover, Flow Robotics is experiencing a very exciting international growth phase, which will lead to a continued and improved focus on production quality and other processes. This growth will also create interesting career opportunities in the future. Besides your focus on quality, you enjoy working with people with other backgrounds in a scale up environment, where things are sometimes moving very fast.
Strong quality profile with focus on implementation and cross functional teamwork
You will mainly be working on issues directly related to production quality and the quality management system covering topics like:
- Taking ownership of Supplier Quality Inspections/issues.
- Lead cross functional team-meetings focusing on QA.
- Lead the Final Product Quality Testing with the team and make test at production peaks.
- Hands on approach and helping in the production when needed.
- Administer and upgrade ERP system for production for new products.
- Assist the management team to establish and administer QMS system.
- Define and report relevant production KPIs.
- Lead internal audit of QMS system.
- Documenting processes.
- Lead product quality reviews.
Your background
As a candidate for the position, we believe that you have:
- Some years of experience in working within the quality field.
- Knowledge and skills related to quality standards and tools, such as ISO 9001, 8D method, auditing, control plans, etc.
- Good communication skills and experience in managing quality systems
- Skilled in Danish and English, both verbal and in writing.
- A sense for detail and structure, and a strive for improvements
- Pragmatic, fact, and problem-solving oriented mindset
About Flow Robotics
Flow Robotics A/S is a scale-up company experiencing strong growth internationally, especially in the US and UK. As a spin-out from the IT University of Copenhagen, the company’s vision is to revolutionize liquid handling automation in the life science and public health sectors. There are about 30 employees worldwide in Flow Robotics, where most of them are located in the headquarter in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The technology behind Flow Robotics liquid handling robot, flowbot ONE, enables user-friendly automation of various pipetting tasks. Our robots are already making a difference, for example in assisting professionals working to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
