As DFDS is rolling out our new ERP system, we must ensure that all the new Procurement processes will be successfully implemented. The roll-out spreads across multiple locations in the EU, and the procurement track will need great attention and support from a Functional PM, that is experienced in ERP implementations of D365 F&O.

As Project Manager you will be part of a very competent and international ERP project team that will implement the D365 F&O DFDS Global template in in more than 60 entities all over Europe.
Most people in this role will strengthen their stakeholder management along the way and increase their understanding of processes and learn about Finance and Procurement processes in different countries and local legal requirements. Further applicants get a chance to strengthen their interdisciplinary skillset, as the implementation moves across several areas of finance, procurement, and IT.
Every day you will work with Developers, System Architects, D365 F&O Consultants, Finance and Procurement specialists and Management.
You will get a direct, transparent, and empowering manager who enjoys everyday fun and a good social atmosphere. You will be part of the Technology and Innovation Division and located in the ERP program team, alongside other project managers in the program.
Main responsibilities
The Procurement Functional PM will be responsible for the communication and execution of the ERP project plan & decisions, to ensure milestones will be reached by the Procurement Track. This entails preparing and guiding the Procurement track members for tasks in ERP implementation (i.e. configuration & testing)
When all DFDS entities are live on D365 FO, the Procurement Functional PM will participate in the next phases to make Procurement global processes more efficient, so it will also be an important position after completion of the ERP project.
Naturally, you get the responsibility as owner of the Procurement ADO backlog and the Procurement Configuration Runbook.
You have the D365 F&O system overview, to secure the cross functional alignment, arrange and facilitate ERP workshops & meetings and train other employees in the D365 F&O system processes and configuration.

Preferred candidate profile
- ERP project implementation experience, either on customer or vendor side
- Experienced super-user or implementation consultant in D365 F&O (or AX2012)
- Ideally experienced in the project management discipline
- Knowledge of the Procure-to-Pay process
- Knowledge about Procurement’s interface with other system modules
- Good understanding of workflow configuration
- Experienced trainer and workshop facilitator
- Knowledge of change management in system implementations
- Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops
