The Deposits and Accounts Service Domain adds value by providing the target applications for ’s customer account ledgers and payments handling; the back-bone of ’s product offering to individual customers and a corner-stone of our promise to be a safe and trusted financial partner for our 10 million customers.
As one of a number of Engineering Managers, you will have overall technical accountability for the development of solutions of your Agile Release Train. This encompasses both in-house development and services delivered by the Bank’s partner organisations.

About this opportunity
The Engineering Manager will work closely with the Service Domain Technology Lead and will be expected to drive engineering excellence in the delivery of reliable, secure, performant and maintainable solutions that meet the design requirements within the Service Domain. Engineering Managers are technical leaders, co-ordinators, facilitators and enablers. They provide strategic and technical direction to development teams to ensure quality and on time delivery.
This role is not expected to code, but should be able to get to that level of detail to be able to communicate and influence desired technical outcomes.
