Would you like to build partnerships and work closely with the product team on the mission to scale a prototype to a paid product? Then join us as our new Product Manager!
At DSB Digital Labs, we build internal startups that change the way people travel, commute, and move from A to B. We put sustainability front and center when we design solutions that use the power of public transportation to make seamless journeys for people. We are growing and expanding with a new division in the lab; Mobility Lab with the core task to scale our product, Kørmit.
As our Product Manager, you will be joining the Mobility Lab at an exciting moment where we soon go to market, and scale Kørmit. We have MVP and PoC tested Kørmit over the last two years with users - we tested Kørmit nationally across 6 stations last year with nine companies. Now, we need you to empower us further. You will be an essential part of our scaling journey, but you will not be alone. You will be joining a diverse and committed team on the quest to encourage innovation outcomes. We expect you to bring value to the team by sharing your experience from previous roles and services, where you have been a part of scaling a (digital) product.
Why we need you
Digital Labs consists of three areas: Exploration, Execution and Mobility Lab. Exploration is our early innovation area that feeds potential startup concepts to the execution part of the lab. Execution consists of two speedboats, one of which Kørmit has just recently grown out of. The newly established Mobility Lab whose purpose is to scale our mobility product, Kørmit, and test new mobility opportunities for DSB.
We are taking Kørmit to the next level by realizing our product vision: We remove the friction in everyday commuting through a first and last mile solution that gives our customers the freedom to choose the means of transportation and put DSB at the center of sustainable travel.

Today, Digital Labs works with the overarching vision “We unleash DSB’s innovative potential by creating digital products and services leading us towards a sustainable future.”
We have strategic designers, UX designers, Digital Designers, Business Analysts, Communication Specialists, Product Managers, and a team of developers that all work in a flat organizational structure. All in all, we are 17 people in the Lab from Norway, Sweden, Turkey, Spain, USA, Hungary, China, Italy, and Denmark.
The Digital Labs is a separate entity placed in DSB IT, acting across all areas of the business. This is best underlined by the advisory board of the Digital Labs which consist of the board of directors at DSB. We therefore have a broad mandate, and we aim to partner up with the best to honor the faith that has been put upon us. Our physical location is in Copenhagen at Otto Busses Vej, close to DSB’s own history and Jernbanebyen.

What you will be doing
In this role you will
- Guide the product team and development from prototype to paid product
- Handle operational partnerships which are key to Kørmit
- Maximize customer and user value in our short and fast prototype development cycle
- Develop the business (model) together with Mobility Manager
- Prioritize and plan each sprint’s goals, keep the team on track and prioritize the backlog
- Enable team empowerment, learning and growth
- Motivate the team towards the goals set by having time, resources, and other factors in mind
- Together with the team members, follow up on objectives and key results (OKRs) to promote development

- Experience with scaling a b2b product - with a prospective b2c market further down the line

- Proficient communication capabilities
- Significant organizational skills to build roadmaps and deliver goals set
