Your mission is to enable and drive successful delivery of high product quality and compliance in our global production for a world-leading company within hearing healthcare.

A significant contributor
In your role as Vice President for Global Operations Quality, you will be located in our headquarters in Smørum, Denmark.. You are given a key role as responsible for our production, packaging and distribution quality. You will be responsible for the Medical Device Compliance in our Operation sites together with the local management group. You will, furthermore, have an important and significant role across Quality and Operations ensuring that we always deliver high quality products to the market.
You will be accountable for all improvement deliveries, people management, and strategic direction on our sites in Ballerup (DK), Mierzyn (PL), Kitchener (CA), Somerset (US) and Tijuana (MX) . Your group consists of currently 80 employees in 4 levels in the above-mentioned sites. Alongside, you will be responsible for identifying, formulate, and drive change projects related to regulatory changes and business risks regarding compliance.
You will provide direction and clarity on a strategic and operational level within your own function and towards external stakeholders. You will plan and optimize resources to meet agreed deliveries including seeking efficiencies and potential cost optimizations.
You report to the Senior Vice President of Quality, will be a member of both the Quality and Operations leadership teams.
On the leadership side, we expect you to develop the competencies and talents of your employees, plus develop, coach and build leadership capabilities within your own leadership team. In addition, we expect you to be motivating and inspiring towards your team and your stakeholders throughout the whole value chain.
As we are working in a global set up, you should work effortlessly in English on all levels.
Travel activity is part of the role and you can expect app. 100 days travel annually.
Professional skills
You have 10+ years’ experience within quality and operations management from an international or Danish multi-site set-up, and preferably from medical device industry.
To be successful in this role, you should be proficient in managing/steering daily key activities in own group and sites . You have experience with driving strategies in a global context and understanding how to lead and manage deliveries across several locations. Significant experience with a complex regulatory environment is a must.
Personal skills
You possess great interpersonal skills and naturally build trust and strong relations with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You consider yourself a strong leader and get energy by meeting both internal and external customers and business contacts. You have furthermore a strategic and analytical mindset and can keep your head cool in busy times without losing the overall perspective.
You are well structured having a methodological approach and can create a sense of urgency when needed for making the deliveries hit the deadlines. Finally, you can nurture a “high quality”-culture within your area and can set direction for and deliver a “One Team” behavior.
