We are currently looking for a student to join Xellia Pharmaceuticals’ headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark. Xellia Pharmaceuticals is owned by Novo Holdings A/S and is a specialty pharmaceutical company leading in the development, manufacture, and supply of anti-infective treatments.

The job
The role offers the opportunity to link and apply your academic studies with business practice. It will give you unique insights into the day-to-day tactical & strategic procurement. The role will support procurement and administrative activities across categories and responsibilities. You will help drive different projects for the team and help secure deadlines are met. You will primarily be allocated to activities on our site in Copenhagen, although, you may also be required to support or drive activities on other facilities.

Your primary tasks will be:

  • Handling of supplier contract database
  • Supporting the team with cost-saving opportunities through projects & tenders
  • Supporting team with ad-hoc projects and reports.

The team
The position in Xellia Pharmaceuticals offers you challenging tasks and assignments in an international environment. You will be part of a global pharmaceutical company in growth and under constant development. You will report to the Manager for Global Procurement Technical Spend and be apart of a global team of 4.

Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for a skilled and independently working person with a high level of integrity, who understands how to prioritize and accomplish tasks with a high degree of quality and attention to detail.

Other preferred qualifications are:

  • You are studying in a bachelor’s degree or MSc programme with a focus on Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering
  • You are fluent in Danish and English, spoken and written
  • You are proactive.
  • You have a positive spirit and are a quick learner.
  • You can work in a global, multi-cultural and diverse work environment.
  • You are a competent user of Excel

The workload as student assistant is approx. 10-20 hours per week. We are open to flexibility around studies.
