Got what it takes? We are currently looking for a Senior Product Brand Manager & Lead for Yves Saint-Laurent Fragrances in the LUXE division in Copenhagen. 

Your mission… 

As YSL Fragrances Product Brand Manager & Lead, you are the expert of the fragrance category, the YSL brand strategy and marketing investments. Your mission is to maximize sell-out and enhance the brand equity in order to meet our business objectives over the short and long term. You are accountable for driving and implementing a relevant 360 strategy in the fragrances category, engaging all stakeholders across all functions and all Nordic markets towards a shared vision. The “Lead” part of the role also entails supporting the brand director with the management of topics for the entire brand, including budget management, overall brand representation and ensuring that the strategy set up for YSL fragrances, make-up and skincare fits the overall Nordic YSL brand frame. The role reports to the YSL Brand Director for the Nordics, based in our Hub in Copenhagen.

You will…

  • Gain consumer insights and make strategic recommendations based on knowledge of consumer, competition, and trends 
  • Own the product portfolio management including dimensioning, forecast, price positioning and lifecycle management 
  • Drive brand category strategy and 360 implementations of all launches and campaigns in collaboration with your stakeholders both in the YSL team and in the 4 markets. 
  • Own the marketing & budget planning for the entire brand (all axes, sell out and marketing investments) 
  • Provide convincing rationale and storytelling for commercial and trade 
  • Be the guardian of the category & product expression across channels: artworks, claims validation, model rights, etc. 
  • Drive the paid media strategy and execution in close collaboration with the Digital Media Manager and the Online Brand Manager. 
  • Conduct sell-out analysis, test-and-learn initiatives, and share this both with your Nordic colleagues and the Zone (Global headquarter), for the full brand
  • Be the voice of the markets to the Zone on the full brand and on the fragrances category in cooperation with the Brand Director 


Your profile... 

  • You have 3+ years’ experience from a similar role  
  • You are fluent in English. Fluency in another Nordic language is a plus 
  • You have a deep affinity with beauty and luxury which drives a natural interest for consumer & market trends across all touchpoints in that area; knowledge of or affinity for the fragrance category is a plus
  • You are a strong communicator as well as a proven self-starter with a good strategic view and an operative mind-set 
  • You are able to work independently initiating ideas proactively and defending them while looking for synergies across the Nordic markets within your brand frame 
  • You know how to make presentations that will involve and engage your audience 
  • You have a strong analytical mindset and you are able to transform data and insights into actionable strategies 
  • You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment 
  • You are a strong team player and you know how to build connections and network  with your peers, leader and colleagues across departments/countries
  • You have a hands-on and pro-active approach and want to drive results
