Would you like to build the digital solutions that new and existing companies need to thrive in 2 – 3 years? We are now looking for a Corporate Entrepreneur to work with design thinking principles and hands-on entrepreneurial approaches to design, experiment, and build new digital offerings in collaboration with customers and partners.

About this opportunity
Welcome to the Commercial & Business Banking Digital Innovation and Product Ownership team. We add value by looking at how the world is changing both now and in the next few years. We do this by running experiments to understand what will impact starting and running a business with the aim to identify where we have a role in helping our current and future business customers thrive. As a Corporate Entrepreneur, you’ll play a valuable role in validating the impact of future trends on our customer’s businesses and designing new solutions that make starting and running a business easier, potentially creating new products, services or businesses for Nordea.
What you’ll be doing:
- Using our strategic movements as a guide, you will identify hypotheses and validate through experiments, what new services will make a difference for our business customers and take them into the first steps of being realised with our developer teams
- Applying innovation models and design thinking principles to co-create solutions with customers and technology partners
- Scouting for and screening potential partners to collaborate with
- Facilitating workshops and activities that shape concepts and recommendations into actionable experiments
- Designing and running processes to validate concept desirability, viability, and feasibility with customers, partners, and Nordea business and technology areas

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Have an innovative mindset and a natural curiosity, and are comfortable making decisions and acting with high uncertainty and assumptions
- Can design and execute experiments in-house, with customers, as well as with partner companies that are exploratory, high risk of failure and iterative
- Balance enthusiasm and willingness to test boundaries with a mature business perspective towards our customer responsibilities
Your experience and background:
- You have been working as an entrepreneur or within business development or business innovation and have experience in leading design thinking activities. You have solid tech understanding, are visionary and see technology as a huge enabler for future business models
- At least 3 years of experience in business development and digital innovation, in an agile setup or as part of a founding team in one or more technology based companies
- You have a proven strong team-spirit and outgoing personality able to lead a team pulled from different areas of the business and experienced aligning with stakeholders on CXO level
- Experience working in collaboration between corporate companies and start-ups (from either side or as the coordinating entity)
- A master’s degree within business, innovation, and/or technology or an equivalent number of years’ experience starting and running a technology based business
- Proven to be a structured planner, a strong facilitator, as well as a presenter and communicator, in both spoken and written English and preferably at least one Nordic language
