As Senior Product Manager for Dental Lab Design Software you will be a very important part of the Lab Product Management team. You will be an essential part of setting the direction for the global lab business at 3Shape. benefitting thousands of labs across the globe.

We have one of the best CAD/CAM solutions in the world. You will be responsible for the design software driving the continued success by analyzing markets and competitive products, understanding customer needs and making cool new products and features. You will work closely with colleagues in Development, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory Affairs and Customer Care.

As Senior Product Manager for Dental Lab Design Software you will:

  • Be responsible for the entire portfolio of lab design software products and along with the Senior Product Manager for scanners ensure a great user experience across our solutions.
  • Explore customer needs, analyze markets and competition to define product visions, product roadmaps and requirements for the design software products.
  • Drive the development of new features and functionalities in collaboration with R&D.
  • Use state of the art technology such as deep learning to realize superior product features.
  • Work with designers to provide the best user interface in the market.
  • Drive product launch activities in close cooperation with our marketing, sales and country organizations.
  • Build relationships and work with key opinion leaders, universities, end-user and partners across the world.
  • Travel frequently to end-users, exhibitions and conferences (Around 20-30 days of travel per year).

The position reports to the Director of the Lab product management team and has 1-2 direct reports.

Your profile

You either have a background in science, engineering or technology at a MSc level and with solid product management experience or you are an experienced dental technician with solid understanding of our CAD/CAM solutions.

Regardless of your background you possess the following skills

  • Flair for technology, user interface design and the ability to translate customer and market needs into successful products.
  • An open and curious mind looking to explore a rapidly changing industry.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills to successfully work in a complex business environment and maintain the interests, goals and priorities from many stakeholders.
  • Strong communicator that can identify important elements in complex issues and present them effectively using written, verbal, and visual communication.
  • Highly self-motivated and ability to build strong relationship to customers and partners.
  • A great team player able to energize and motivate others when interacting and collaborating cross-functionally with many different personalities and backgrounds
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Additional major languages will be considered a plus.
