The position
As our new Senior Material Purchasing Specialist, you will be joining our team responsible for purchasing of materials for the production. This position will support the team with specialist inputs and know-how from former experience, regarding purchasing of materials in Pharma. With mindset on legislation, documentation and best practices. You daily tasks will include: Supporting GMP documentation in the team, mainly with focus on supplier regulations on materials Drive and participate process improvement projects across organization or locally in the team, primarily with the purchasing focus of raw materials Supporting Manager in strategy and continuous improvements in the team Providing ad-hoc purchasing help To set a visible local example for others in the area to follow through role modelling and leadership
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications: An academic degree within natural science or Engineering (purchasing, chemical or similar) + 3 years of experience from a similar position Solid understanding of materials, and knowledge in purchasing legislation from pharma Experience with SOP, deviations, process executions and change request Experience with driving and executing in projects You have ideally worked in similar position, or as a purchaser or in sourcing of raw materials for the medicinal industry. You have worked with documenting deviations and change requests, and preferably you are familiar with a regulated environment. As a person, you are positive and outgoing, and like new challenges where you have “go-getter” mentality, and you are comfortable with interacting with many different stakeholders.
About the department
We are responsible for multiple areas within Supply Chain. We are a diverse department responsible for purchasing of raw materials for our manufacturing, GMP documentation for our suppliers, and implementation of new materials and project management. We collaborate closely with other areas/departments to implement manufacturing processes, and maintaining GMP and legislations demands towards our suppliers. Our goal is to keep our standard high with ensuring new materials for product launches and making sure we have materials at the right time in the right amount, with the right amount of qualifications on materials.
