European Energy is a Danish privately owned company in rapid growth. We cover all phases of wind and photovoltaic (PV) solar projects, from early development to operation and/or divestment of assets. Our company of over 220 employees has since 2004 installed more than 2 GW of renewable energy. We operate globally and employ 23 different nationalities at our HQ in Copenhagen and our offices in Sweden, the UK, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, and Spain. You will be part of our Sourcing & Procurement team, based in the HQ Copenhagen. The team is integrated within the EPC division of European Energy, which has the overall responsibility for the planning, design, and construction of our sites. We work with professional suppliers, partners, and sub-contractors for the completion of the sites.
Your role will be to lead commercial negotiations of supply and installation contracts related to large-scale solar PV and wind power projects. You will be involved from the early sourcing phases before construction and take the lead responsibility for the contract execution within strict timelines and ensure a high standard of the final terms & conditions is achieved.
You will be working with many internal and external stakeholders and you will see yourself in an environment with a big variation of interesting tasks. You have solid interpersonal skills to negotiate with local suppliers, contractors, service providers and communicate with stakeholders, internal and external advisors, etc.

You must have good structural skills, as you will be working in a high-paced and multidisciplinary environment with complex projects. You possess strong stakeholder, negotiation, and time management skills. You are skilled at maintaining the overview whilst paying attention to important details.

Professional skills we expect from you
- You have completed a bachelor or master at a university level
- You have at least 4-5 years of experience and a proven track record within project management, purchasing, or sales role where you were leading negotiations and execution of contracts
- You have a strong legal and commercial contractual understanding
- You have solid MS Office background and advanced Excel skills
- You master English at a professional level. Danish, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese language skills are an advantage
- You have a project management education or certification
- Knowledge of the renewable energy industry, primarily in wind and solar PV is an advantage as well as electro-mechanical interest or background
