As Product Manager, you will report to the Group CCO. You will be responsible for the bridging between Sales, Marketing, Innovation and Production, and your main tasks and activities will include:

Legislation
Approx. 50-60 days of travel a year should be expected.
Your personality, skills & style matter
You are enterprising, proactive and curios by nature. You have great analytical skills and good, basic insight into technical matters. Although team-oriented and socially strong, you work independently. You are well-organised and know how to plan your time and prioritise your tasks.
Thanks to a combination of commercial awareness and interpersonal skills, customer meetings and projects are home ground for you.
Your work experience & education
You have minimum 2 years of work experience – preferably from a position as Product Manager at a company supplying a technical product BtB. International experience is a plus.
In terms of educational background, you may have a BS /BA Degree in engineering – e.g. as an export engineer with commercial experience; you may have a degree in environmental technology or environmental engineering; you may have a background as a technical salesperson – or other relevant qualifications. Either way, technical knowledge about tyres and/or materials like rubber, textiles or polymers and experience with product strategies are essential – as is experience with environmental and climate engineering and knowledge of sustainability and carbon footprint. You master English well – and ideally also get by in German.

As Product Manager, you will report to the Group CCO. You will be responsible for the bridging between Sales, Marketing, Innovation and Production, and your main tasks and activities will include:
Innovation & product management
- Engage in the development of new products and applications, supporting Genan’s Innovation team.
- Participate in customer projects for the development of new applications with Genan rubber or textile.
- Conduct product and application training – in-house as well as with customers or other external stakeholders.
Sales & marketing
- Create and drive market campaigns for selected Genan products.
- Participate in customer visits with the sales team, especially for technical pre-sales assistance.
- Provide the sales team with product-related know-how and data such as USPs, benchmarks etc.
- Approach the Genan product range from a market perspective and help develop the portfolio in a strategic direction.
Legislation
- Monitor and distribute new regulations, approvals, standards and norms which may influence the Genan product range.
- Support the organisation with environmental and climate know-how in relation to circular economy, LCA, carbon footprint, sustainability, microplastics, PAH, REACH etc.
