Your position
At Semco Maritime, you will become a part of our Oil & Gas Service department in our Oil & Gas Division. Here we provide various offshore service solutions to our customers, including decommissioning projects, coatings, fabric maintenance campaigns, access solutions and overall providing tailored service deliveries.
You will become a part of a dedicated and passionate leadership team, and you will have around 6-8 direct reports being managers and project coordinators, who all together have around 60-70 direct reports.
Your tasks & responsibilities
As our new Operations Manager you will be responsible for the strategic business development in our Oil & Gas Service department, where you will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that we are making the best decisions. Your main area of responsibility will be developing and executing our integrated services and maintenance concept in close cooperation with the relevant stakeholders.
Here you will also play a key role in modelling/modifying the strategy to ensure we continue providing the best service and maintenance solutions for our customers.
In addition to the above, some of your daily tasks will include but are not limited to:

- Communicating and collaborating closely with our customers in relation to needs, quotations, and other inquiries
- Participating in the general strategic development of the Oil & Gas Service department
- Providing motivating and inspiring leadership to a self-driven team of managers and coordinators
- Integration with our electrical- instrument and mechanical branch in the department
- Providing a seamless experience for our costumers during the entire process and hereby acting as an ambassador and strengthening our presence in the market
Your profile & qualifications

- Technical background and knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry
- Educational background is not essential, but we imagine that you have an education as a marine engineer or similar technical background
- Experience with quotations and sales of technical services
- Knowledge of Offshore operations, practical hands-on experience from the industry is valued but not essential
- Language proficiency in Danish and English, verbal and written
