A small start-up within a global market leader
DSV Smarter Storage is a new business venture for the DSV Group. Our aim is to offer easier, more affordable and just a bit smarter storage solutions by utilising the global DSV logistic network.
You will join a – for the time being – small organisation of a handful colleagues dedicated solely to Smarter Storage. To support us, we have specialist competencies from all the DSV Group functions at our disposal.
From local to global success
Our ambition is to create success first in Copenhagen and then scale up to the rest of Europe. While our offices are located in the DSV HQ in Hedehusene, Denmark, you will frequently commute to Copenhagen where our storage spaces will be distributed.
IT systems owner and daily operations manager
You will be a key player in building the business. Therefore, your role will develop as the business grows. You will be the IT systems owner and process and product specialist for our website, property management system, app, operations and storage products and related services. However, during the first 6 months, you will focus on testing and preparation for the launch. Your tasks will be to:
“Moving storage into the 21st century requires a new and smarter business model. What could be a challenging, but also a necessary and fun part of this job, is to continuously adjust our IT infrastructure as we receive feedback from customers,” explains Rune Dam Pedersen, who will be your manager.

You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and respond well to change. You find storage and logistics interesting, but prior experience within the field is not a must – you could come from a position as a salesperson, product manager or the like. Your personality and drive will be your entry ticket to this position.

- Manage the day-to-day operations of our storage sites
- Coordinate, supervise and test integrations, business and systems processes and content for the website, PMS system and access control App
- Set up our property management system according to the business model and storage offerings
- Support customers and train colleagues in customer support during go-lives of new sites
- Support sales activities, e.g. campaigns, to increase customer satisfaction and utilisation rates

- You have some experience with operations and logistics
- You have some experience within sales
- You speak and write Danish and English effortlessly
- You have a flair for IT and are proficient in Microsoft programs
- Ideally, you have experience with or knowledge of the storage industry
