LTP Group is undergoing global expansion with a newly established production facility for the Furniture Division located in Mexico and ready to take its global reach to a new level. The company therefore seeks a skilled Global Operations Manager who will take the lead in the company’s global operations and supply chain strategy.
The successful candidate’s primary role will be to support daily operations and the supply chain across all five of the company’s production sites, strengthening standard operational procedures and policies across all functions to ensure supply chain and operational excellence on a global scale.
As the Global Operations Manager you will:
- Together with local management, contribute to daily operational activities, including securing production capacity, implementing double ABC, optimising flushing methods, cycle count, pick, scanning, flow etc.
- Strengthen standard operational procedures and policies across all functions to ensure supply chain and operational excellence on a global scale
- Implement a new QMS/EMS system and establish warehouse management structures that are the best in the industry
- Support the team in Lithuania in supporting customers, and preparing the site in Mexico to ensure that it is fully operational and ready for mass production, including the necessary customer support and selecting the required sub-suppliers
- Work closely with the management team in Denmark to support local plant directors and management teams to carry out the strategic initiatives contained in the 2025 strategy
You will be based at the LTP head office at Bloxhub in Copenhagen together with 10 ambitious colleagues. You will report directly to the CEO of LTP Contract Furniture and can look forward to approximately 80 travel days per year, including longer trips to Mexico.
Extensive supply chain know-how and excellent management skills
As the Global Operations Manager you must be a truly hands-on manager, who can help take LTP to the next level. You must have well-developed business acumen and a strategic mindset. You must be able to build long-lasting business relationships based on a high level of trust and you are naturally interested in people.
You must have extensive supply chain know-how and experience and possess first-rate project management competencies. Furthermore, you are experienced in implementing compliance programmes such as ISO and FSC. You are able to implement LEAN production methodologies.
This means that you have at 5-10 years of experience as a Plant Director, COO or similar, with practical experience in all supply chain and production-related activities – preferably from an international organization operating in the furniture or garment industry.
You are a strongly driven individual, who can work independently and in a structured manner. You have first-rate analytical skills and are very systematic. In addition, you are fluent in both written and spoken English at a professional negotiation level.
