In a newly established role as Global HR Operations Manager that entails a zip of HR Business Partnering, you have an opportunity to join a unique workplace where people are passionate about their core purpose – which is to empower consumers everywhere to enjoy wine to the fullest. You report to the CHRO, who works out of Copenhagen, and are in touch with great people in different time zones, and your team is placed in Copenhagen and San Francisco.
As Global HR Operations Manager, you provide an optimal daily support to the entire Vivino business in all geographical markets. Together with your team of 2-3 dedicated specialists, you cover the full employee lifecycle from onboarding, contracts, benefits, to offboarding. While basic processes and structures are in place, there is room for improvement. One of your key objectives is therefore to define and implement new streamlined processes and establish a consolidated HR Operations with greater alignment across countries.
Next to HR Operations, you are also HR Business Partner to the management level, advising them on all aspects of HR including new hires, compensation, legal matters, and development needs. In addition, you take part in initiatives and projects focused on themes such as leadership development, company culture, and diversity and inclusion.
Because the role is newly established, you have a strong influence on tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities include, among others, the following:
We expect you to have several years of HR Operations experience from an international setting where you have provided high-quality support across the entire employee lifecycle. In addition, you have experience in developing and implementing new processes and frameworks and are motivated by driving change. You have strong knowledge of Danish employment law and a good understanding of HR data and analytics, which you apply in finding effective and pragmatic solutions to various matters. Furthermore, you are fluent in English and Danish (written as well as spoken) and thrive in a multi-cultural environment.
You present yourself as a strong communicator who successfully establishes relations at all levels of an organization and across different markets. You have an international mindset and can think globally, while also respecting regional and local interests. In your interaction with others, you balance empathy and respect, with the ability to set high standards and stand by your recommendations. While being proactive and passionate, you are pragmatic and choose to spend time on tasks that make a true difference.

Develop, consolidate, and lead a global HR Operations function
As Global HR Operations Manager, you provide an optimal daily support to the entire Vivino business in all geographical markets. Because the role is newly established, you have a strong influence on tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities include, among others, the following:
- Support the organization across all markets with tasks that cover the full employee lifecycle, e.g., onboarding, contracts, compensation, benefits, rewards, HR legal, master data, offboarding, and various employee matters (illness, leave, etc.)
- Provide advisory on employment law in Denmark and ensure that legal issues across the markets are resolved directly or with the support of local external advisers
- Support and ensure that all HR legal requirements are in place
- Develop and implement necessary new policies, including developing and continuously updating the global employee handbook
- Review and develop new benefit schemes and align these across markets
An experienced HR Operations professional with Business Partnering skills
