Here in SGRE we put great effort in developing the future offshore wind turbines and in production of the next generation offshore blades. Therefore, we are looking for a Process Engineer with interest in process monitoring. If you have a have a good eye for process optimization and thrive in a global environment, where you serve as a point of contact for the local engineers and blue-collar workers from our plants, this position might be interesting for you. If you have a have a good eye for process optimization and thrives as the global point of contact for the local engineers and blue-collar workers from our plants, this position might be interesting for you.You will be in daily contact with our production and therefore it is appreciated if you have experience working in a manufacturing environment either as engineer or craftsman.Travel days per year - 10-25 days.

About the role
- Drive the development and optimization of sensor application on blade casting setup
- Ensure data acquisition of Critical to Process parameters
- Develop a data monitoring system for casting setup
- Based on the information and conclusions derived from the process monitoring you will be responsible for optimizing globally casting process in our plants.
- Optimize the shop floor documentation by e.g. exchanging manually collected data with automatically collected data
- Drive digitalization of the business from a casting point of view
- Share best practices within process monitoring and digitalization across departments and plants
- Have a strategic overview for sensor application-, data acquisition-, data monitoring- and digitalization development and roadmap within the casting area
- Support root cause analysis, problem solving and non-conformance handling
About you
Education/experience
- Engineering degree or similar technical education within relevant area.
- Experience in working with sensors, data acquisition, data monitoring and process optimization
- It would be appreciated if you had a general knowledge of wind turbine blade manufacturing
Personal
- You must be a people’s person
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- You must be self-driven
- Have interest in functioning as a project manager for you own projects
- You should thrive in an office- as well as production environment
Skills
- Fluent in English both orally and in writing
- Strong in MS-office
- Have knowledge of Power BI
