Do you want to be part of a strong technical support team, optimizing aseptic filling lines and ensuring stable automation processes? Then you could be our new colleague in Diabetes Finished Products (DFP) site Bagsværd building 2H within Novo Nordisk, Product Supply.

About the department
DFP BA Line filling consist of approx. 170 employees with the responsibility of operating two aseptic filling lines that are crucial for Novo Nordisk to deliver worldwide insulin and GLP-1 products. The technical support team consists of 19 employees with various competences and you will be part of the highly skilled automation team consisting of automation technicians and engineers having collaboration with colleagues, stakeholders across the site as well as with internal/external vendors. We work in a unit characterized by strong collaboration and good team spirit with the aim to support, optimize and develop the automation solutions. We are an ambitious team on a journey striving for operational excellence both within existing and new technology.

The job
Primarily the assignment is related to our automation solutions which directly or indirectly controls the production processes on our filling lines. The responsibility of the technical support team is to optimize with both minor and major rebuilds and to maintain the filling lines. Your job will mainly consist of driving optimizations with a project management approach including the implementation and validation, but also correcting errors on ad hoc basis. You will also have the opportunity to be part of major projects driven by our Technology & Innovation department with the responsibility of supplying DFP with worldwide solutions within new technology.

Qualification
The ideal candidate has an academic or technical background combined with working experience within complex automation systems. An engineer, marine engineer or automation technician with project experience could be the ideal candidate. Knowledge of SCADA and various PLCs is an advantage. Experience working with GMP and the requirements of the authorities in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage but not a requirement, but since documentation is a big part of working in the pharmaceutical industry, this must be natural for you.

As a person, you have a high degree of can-do mindset and drive and you can challenge the existing way of doing things. Your energy and willingness to make a difference and optimize processes shows in your daily work. You take responsibility, are structured and have a strong quality mind-set.

You are a strong team player and like collaborating with stakeholders of different professions, and it is natural for you to share or take lead on key improvement activities. You are thorough and pragmatic at the same time and find it natural also to work independently.
