We are looking for a Project Planner Manager to be based in Copenhagen.
In Denmark, Alstom is currently delivering the ERTMS signalling solutions for Banedanmark for Trackside in Eastern Denmark, and for Onboard equipment nationwide. The nearly 100-year-old signalling system on the Danish railways is being replaced with a new IT-based signalling system European Rail Traffic Management System – also called ERTMS. The new system will, through the coming years, be implemented all over Europe and will increase the security level on the rails and lead to more trains on time.
What will you do?
As a Project Planner, you will be working in close collaboration with the project planning manager to provide accurate information in order to update and follow the Project master schedule. Moreover, you will be In charge of monitoring the internal project schedule, which is shared with the internal teams so they to plan their detailed activities.

Your key responsibilities:
To be the leader in Customer schedule management:
- To establish the reference and to monitor the Customer project schedule
- To ensure the project planning baseline is coherent with the execution
- To ensure the monthly update of the Customer schedule
- To lead project schedule sessions called by the Customer to explain and defend Alstom strategy
- To prepare schedule and progress reports for the Customer
- To focus on early identification of potential delays (critical paths), including the status of risks and margin related to schedule
- To propose a recovery plan to mitigate any impact on the critical path and Customer milestones
- To lead scheduled related Customer discussions in case of a claim
As a member of the BDK F-Bane east Trackside project team:
- To ensure the consistency of all the internal and external Stakeholders' commitments, to manage the schedules interfaces, with a specific focus on the Alstom internal units interfaces, in regards to the project core team strategy
- To lead the project schedule based on internal standard PERT, contractual targets and data provided by all stakeholders, in line with the integrated schedule
- To provide a timely updated schedule situation highlighting the gap between the actual and the baseline,
- To organise and lead periodic project schedule sessions for the internal team
- To monitor and report the project follow-up through schedule updates and performance dashboard, especially regarding OTD
Who are you?
- Project planner (+5 years) with an industrial background.
- Advanced skills in Primavera 6 and MS Project.
- Is used to work with internal processes: Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality and their interfaces.
- Good knowledge of railway products
- Skills in communication with internal teams.
